This arrangement of The First Noel is sweet, simple, and reflective. It will invite both player and audience to reflect, and gives space to do so with an added motive that gives space between the melody line. The piece sounds more difficult than it is to play and includes the use of pedal, which gives students at this level an extra boost of confidence. The beautiful but each to play eighth note flourishes in the interlude and the end make this a wonderful recital piece or offertory.
What level is The First Noel Elementary?

Thank you for your newest arrangement of “The First Noel.” Bought it for one of my granddaughters I teach who wants a mature-sounding piece , but is still on a late elementary level. It works wonderfully 🙂

I have a boy working on it that normally doesn’t like challenges. He is loving this song. He has acknowledged it’s challenging, but he is looking forward to mastering it because it sounds so beautiful. A big win in my book!

A big hit. Quick to learn and fun to play. The parallel harmonies give it a fresh feel and kept the older teenagers interested. Thank you.

I love the simple but beautiful harmony in this arrangement and my pupils have enjoyed the flowing broken chord sections. A big sounding but easy to play arrangement.

I have a teen boy who played this at our assisted living recital. What a lovely piece! It was incredibly restful for everyone there. I heard a few folks hum the melody with him. At the end, we were treated to a rare smile from him. He enjoyed it as much as everyone else! It was the perfect piece to help him play with emotion. Thank you, Wendy!

Piece arrangement is easy and enjoyable for a late Elementary student. My student is very excited. I hope this is for my students what Love Story was for me when I was learning: a piece that further develops my comp skills through left hand arpeggios.

I was in a tricky situation and needed a quick but quality Christmas arrangement for a student. I found this one and my student has loved it!
